1. About Pitchside

Pitchside is a catalog-first platform for sports and trading card collectors. It allows users to showcase their collections, track card data, and connect with other collectors. Pitchside is operated by Diego Yepez, based in Colorado, USA.

By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use Pitchside.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Pitchside. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you should have parental or guardian consent.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. Pitchside cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation.

Your username is permanent once set. Choose carefully — it is how other collectors identify and find you on the platform.

You may not create accounts for the purpose of spamming, impersonating others, or circumventing a prior ban.

4. User-submitted content

Pitchside allows you to submit card data including player names, set names, parallels, grades, and personal notes. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit.

All submissions enter a staging queue and are reviewed by Pitchside administrators before being added to the canonical catalog. We reserve the right to reject, modify, or remove any submission that is inaccurate, duplicative, or otherwise unsuitable.

You retain ownership of your personal notes and portfolio data. By submitting card catalog data, you grant Pitchside a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use that data to build and maintain the platform catalog.

5. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent card data
• Attempt to manipulate the catalog or pricing data
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from Pitchside without permission
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform
• Use Pitchside for any unlawful purpose

6. Catalog accuracy

Pitchside's catalog is built from user submissions and reviewed by administrators. While we make every effort to maintain accuracy, we do not guarantee that catalog data is complete, error-free, or up to date. Card values, grades, and market prices shown on the platform are for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as financial advice.

7. Pitchside Slab

The "Pitchside Slab" designation is a community tag for graded cards listed at $75 or under, submitted for personal enjoyment rather than investment value. This tag is self-reported by users and is not independently verified by Pitchside. Pitchside makes no warranty regarding the accuracy of Pitchside Slab designations.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, Pitchside, or third parties.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at the address below. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

Pitchside is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Your use of Pitchside is at your sole risk.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pitchside and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting a notice on the platform. Your continued use of Pitchside after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
